KP works with worldwide pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients to develop drug formulations and manufacture new Clinical Trial Materials (CTM). Services relate to formulation development, clinical supplies production and certain consultations. Reduction of the time and expense of getting to market is accomplished by providing focused, fast turn-around solutions to Formulation and CTM Manufacturing needs. The company utilizes over 20 years of extensive cGMP knowledge to ensure proper development and documentation of their products.
Privately-held KP began operating in Bloomington, Indiana in 1996. They are located about 50 miles south of the Indianapolis International Airport and their facility presently includes dedicated manufacturing areas with independent HEPA/HVAC air handling and dust containment systems. It also has a complete in-house QC laboratory fully equipped with all the modern analytical instrumentation required for raw material and finished product release testing and stability studies in accordance with cGMP/ICH guidelines. In addition to facilities for developing and manufacturing solid oral dosage forms, KPPT also has a qualified state-of-the-art fill-and-finish manufacturing facility with class 100 clean rooms and capabilities for manufacturing and testing all types of parenteral (sterile) dosage forms, including lyophilized formulations.
