Vesta was formed in 1996 by Sam Kwon to focus on contract manufacturing and distribution for the dietary supplement market. Since then Vesta has expanded its capabilities to include formulation, cGMP pharmaceutical and nutraceutical production as well as contract packaging. Vesta specializes in solid-dose products and operates from two cGMP production facilities in Indianapolis.
Vesta produced products are distributed worldwide. We approach each project as a partner and integrate our expertise with our client's capabilities. With the acquisition of Integrity Pharmaceutical's Indianapolis operation in 2005, Vesta added pharmaceutical production and packaging capabilities to its portfolio. Today, Vesta has extensive capabilities to develop, produce and package pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products. Our facilities offer dedicated manufacturing areas with specialized air handling systems. An on site analytical laboratory enables us to offer testing services as a key element of our cGMP processes. Rounding out our solution are fully automated packaging capabilities offering high volume throughput where needed and the flexibility for short run production as well.
In addition to our technical capabilities, Vesta also offers unique business value to our partners. Vesta participates in the Small Business Administration 8(a) Business Development Program and is a Certified Small Disadvantaged Business thereby giving us specialized positioning for Federal contracts. Our Minority Business Enterprise status also enables Vesta to compete for set aside contract opportunities at the state level. Vesta has strong ties to international markets. Named “Exporter of the Year” by the Small Business Administration, Vesta understands the complexities involved in providing products and services to international customers. Our strategic partnerships in overseas markets enable us to build bridges for our U.S. clients otherwise unavailable to them.
